NorCal Academy of Performing Arts in association with Evergreen Studio of Music of the Arts proudly presented Philippine Ballet Theatre's Filipino Masterpieces & Seyre At Sayaw: A unique cultivation of dance and music inspired by Philippine-American culture, history, and heritage. The show was held June 8, 2019 at Hammer Theatre Center in San Jose, California.
Our organization featured Philippine Ballet who traveled all the way from the Philippines to bring to the US stage the culture of the Philippines expressed through song and dance. NAPA partnered with PBT to create two parts of the spectacular. Filipino Masterpieces is a flavorful blend of the Philippines' world of tradition and influence from many countries while Seyre at Sayaw conveys a love story that captures romance in modern and classical dance, accompanied by live vocals from our Bay Area Musicians and NAPA students.

"Both NAPA and PBT have collaborated as two non-profit entities that focus on efforts to provide opportunities to those unable to fully afford music, dance and theatre arts instruction. The two entities have dedicated their resources over the years to offer scholarships, mentorship and meaningful participation in performance, with an end goal of enriching the lives of children, young adults, and the communities they belong to."
